Are you for free trade or free trade agreements?

Is there a difference? You bet there is. Free trade means that no Government is involved. mean that all are involved. Its like those where you forfeit your right as a of the USA so you can get a in some places. They are unconstitutional and they take everyone’s rights away to bargain. Free trade agreements are that come with heavy penalties.

So yes I am for free trade and I think its great. I just don’t like the agreements.

If a country is poor then there is other stuff we can trade. There are , oil and other . We don’t have to give them our .

Wow, the Republican Party has been successfully hijacked by Neo cons that know no history of their own country or founders or the tariffs put in place to keep our home industry safe.

Nothing like being called simplistic by a mindless person that would give their own country away we fought the British for 240 years ago because of excessive taxation..

You people really need to wake up and read your history. We were never supposed to give our country away like this. That is what we are doing in the name of profit. It is nothing to do with the Free Market Principle which is competition. Not Communism Trade. Because that is what it is. It is Communism Trade. That’s how our Bosses tried to sell it to us by saying it would give equal opportunity to those nations in need. What must China have thought when we embarked on this madness?

I’m for free trade among free people not among serfs and slaves and free people.

you’re splitting hairs. a free trade agreement will result in free trade, so long as it is enforced by both sides

Wow what a simplistic view ot things. Sorry but this needs some work. Your proposal only works if the other country agrees too, and even in ancient times countries are hesitant to give up control of the goods crossing their borders. Free trade agreements are generally very simple in function to the average importer exporter.

The problem with lack of mining and drilling in the US is not free trade agreements but environmental regulation and in some cases labor unions and laws. Getting rid of the unnecessary restrictions would increase jobs and reduce the trade deficit for sure. It would also to some degree help with manufacturing which has also suffered from legal abuse and easier acces to raw materials would help some heavy industry compete. But it wouldn’t solve the problem entirely because Chin is willing to work for three bowls of rice a day and we’re just not.

So it’s more complicated than that, but glad to see you thinking about it.
