Not nearly as angry as the multitude of formerly working people who are now jobless because of failed lefty policies. Rant and rave all you like but your bunch of lefties in government, including your messiah, have royally ticked off the majority of Americans with your lies, false accusations and misrepresentations as well as your lack in any semblance of financial discipline and control over your wasteful spending. We try to come up with ways to get our economy cranked back up while your ilk foams at the mouth over our efforts and have no valid ideas of your own.

    Can you name one?

Surely if you can make a rant like this, you can actually describe what these supposed tax proposals are?

No it won’t. Just another bit of lying and fear mongering. It really is a shame that you cannot argue your side without making things up. I think it indicates that your beliefs have no rational reason for thinking people to support them.

You can’t even cite the proper name of the sponsors. Fail.

Your ignorance is showing. Salary is salary. It cannot be paid a capital gains. Capital gains is the profit you make when you sell something for more than you paid for it. Some individual may be suggestion the elimination of taxes on capital gains but there is certainly no Republican party plan that suggests it.

As a working person, I will not be angry so long as I remain a working person. Raising taxes on the rich does not and never has produced jobs.

the wealthy are sitting on two trillion dollars the got from the Bush tax cuts since 2001, did they trickle it down into jobs? hell no. Now they insist on keeping this insane tax cuts at the expense of the young, sick, and elderly of our country. Are you people insane or just plain STUPID.

since the only people that employ "poor" people are wealthy people i’m ok with it. But as far as the rant you are giving, since many businesses are leaving due to high taxes, and going to china due to low or nonexistent taxes i believe you need to be asking why aren’t those "in power" taxing imports instead of american businesses

you got a lot of stupid answers here…but that’s no surprise. One of the richest men in the world (Warren Buffet for those of you too lazy or stupid to check the real facts) has long advocated for HIGHER taxes on the wealthy… and he makes most of his money on capital gains. It has been proven over and over and over again that the wealthiest people in the US pay LESS in taxes then the average (and below average) citizen. It’s simply a FACT (and not a single person reading this can dispute it). Any candidate advocating any kind of tax break should be laughed back to hell.

Explain to me then why Obama is not going after GE in a MAJOR was for not only paying NOTHING in corporate taxes in TWO YEARS, but also being GIVEN a grant of $1.4 BILLION!

That little news story seems to have been buried something fierce…

If you’re going to complain about tax "breaks" on the rich, how could you miss THAT one?!?!

I’ll also comment on how stupid these answers are. People are waking up. Go Anonymous! And YOU are correct!

You misunderstand. The life blood of a Capitalist economy is investment in the private sector. To encourage this, capital gains (investment) is taxed at a lower rate. The money used to invest at some point, at the very least the ability to invest, came from HARD EARNED income which was taxed at the income tax levels. It’s like the idea behind a vendor discounting the cost of a product when you buy in bulk. The vendor wants you to buy lots of their product. As an incentive, they give you a discount when you buy a lot of it. Even China understands the capitalistic benefits of the capital gains. They’ve eliminate most or all of their capital gains tax. If COMMUNISTS can understand the benefits of this, maybe we can too.

A reduction in the Capital Gains Tax is not a selective tax. ANYONE poor or rich can put as much of their money into stocks and reap the benefits of capital gains as they want. YOU can do it too! What it does is encourage those with money to invest it into the private and public sector. Liberals complain about the "evil, greedy rich" not doing their fair share. Well here is where they are, along with middle and working class, pumping THEIR money into the economy and Liberals are complaining about it as if money is being taken out of the pockets of the poor. They would rather the government have that money.

Who is better off spending that money; those who know how to make and manage wealth (the wealthy) or those who only knows how to squander it (government)?
