How can Any Common American vote Republican?

   You are wrong all over the board here
   1) The "Trading Places" analogy is specious. You are trying to compare a political party, all of its nuances and intricacies and all of its 60 million people to a 2 hour movie.

   2) Republicans are not "morally bankrupt". They just see the world differently than you. I think it would be bigoted if you said that any other group of people were "morally bankrupt". How about blacks, or Jews, or Muslims, or women? Prejudice is wrong, and you should be ashamed of yourself.

   3) You say "There are more common people in America than privileged." I feel privileged just being American. Don’t you?

   4) Republicans and Democrats both have people who come from privileged backgrounds. Therefore, your question, "How can anyone that comes from privileged backgrounds care for any common person?" is either wrong in what it implies or some Democrats are no different.

   5) Republicans come from every socio-economic background that exists.

   6) You say, "The Privileged Republicans are out of touch with us (Just like Mortimer) who are living day to day." Then why do they want to lower taxes on everyone? I live day to day and I still relate, most of the time, to Republicans.

   7) "So they can’t feel the same level of concerns for every day progress!" Do you think that any of the Democratic Senators are strapped for cash? Of course not. They are ALL loaded.

   On Experience: Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Obama and Biden combined.

   9) It is funny that you call Palin "inexperienced" and then call Obama "minimum experienced". How two-faced can you be?

   10) Palin is not running for President and Obama is!

   11) You say, "He’ll make mistakes and learn fast." The Presidency of the US is not a place for on-the-job training!

   12) You say "McCain is old and set in his ways". That is absolutely true. He has been doing what is best for America since he was a teenager.

   13) "How does that help us?" It helps us because Obama is inexperienced, untested, underqualified, and completely incapable of making difficult decisions. Instead of voting yes or no, over 130 times he voted "present". Being present is not enough when you are the President of the United States. You have to make decisions.

   14) Barack Obama has NEVER voted against his own party. Both McCain and Palin have attacked members of their own parties on ethics, and had them removed from office. Obama is nothing but a puppet.

   I can vote republican because I am opposed to communism- not because I think the candidates are great.

   I would love better candidates but I’m not in control of that.

   Liviong under Dems for more than 40 years will make one vote for anyone but a Dem.

   I’ve left that party 3 times in my life. I don’t know who I am anymore as far as politics.
   I voted for some of that during those 40 years.

   Open a business and try to survive under a new one.

   And you think the Dem’s aren’t playing with our lives? Right… not all republicans are "privileged" only out of looking for and taking opportunities are we privileged.

   I vote Republican because that last thing I want to run my life is yet another Bureau of _________. I feel like even though they will give us choices that effectively don’t really matter they will take away my other choices that to me matters… Things like where and to whom my money goes, my health insurance and even the doctor that I can go see, where I can work, where I can live, etc., etc.

   I don’t like to think that there is going to be more laws and regulations that are going to dictate how exactly I live my life, The seat-belt law is a good example here. Yes it is designed to protect the citizens but isn’t it my responsibility and mine alone what I do to protect my life? Why is it the governments responsibility to tell me what to do and how to live? After all it’s my life and it should be my right to choose right?

   This is why I vote republican… because more often than not they are for smaller government therefore letting me choose on more thing… and if it really were up to me I would vote Libertarian… but since it is hardly ever an option I will have to vote for the Candidate that closely resembles those ideals and I find that more often than not the Dem’s are not for these ideals…

   The MAIN, bad idea of Obama, that I believe ALL True Americans should research and READ is .. Obama’s Global Poverty Act (S.2433) which will surrender America’s sovereignty to the United Nations !!

   I .. HAVE .. and .. WILL .. Vote for the BEST person for the job !!

   JUNIOR U.S. Senator Obama is NOT the Best person to be THE President of THE United States of America !!!
