So, I work in a call center which has several metrics that need to be met. The policy is that if you dont qualify, you are placed on a performance improvement warning, and the new month starts over. Once 4 months are completed with not qualifying, you are terminated. If you do qualify for the month after recieving any PiPs, the PiP is removed and you start over again. That being said, I had 3 of 4 months at no qualified, so I was the final (as in one more month and I would be fired). I thought I was about to be fired. The company released a statement saying because of business needs they were going to forgo the advancement of PiP for everyone. I foudn out when the metrics were totaled for April, that I DID qualify. My boss proceeded to inform me that I was still on final PiP because it didnt count (because it was all withheld). Any ideas?
