Forex (currency exchange) is more "financial rewarding". On forex the leverage could be more than 100:1 that mean with $1000 you could control $100.000… so 1% up or down you could make $1000 or LOOSE $1000. On stock the leverage is only 2:1 that mean with 1000 you can not buy more than 2000.
    Let’s compare Forex vs Stocks.
Forex is trading 24h/6 days a week. So either when you don’t watch the market need to be out, or have the protection (stops) and target in place. You don’t want in the morning to wake up with thousends of dolar gone. Stocks are traded mainly 9:30-4:00 East Time (with extended hours 8:30-5:00).
So if you work/go school on those hours is more dificult to watch the stock market.
The stocks are prone to more manipulation by the pros… When Enron or MCI went BK you don’t have any clues..
Forex can not be manipulated more than few days by governments, but because is so huge the intervention of gov. is not visible…
The idea is to learn to trade/invest to know all about markets…
Besides stock and forex I would look on futures(commodities) market that are with high leverage.
